When you are moving to a new country, graduating from the university or considering a career move. You may feel back to square one.
But, you are not alone. There is something that you can start doing today and that is working on your Personal Branding.
You may heard the therm before. But, what exactly is Personal Branding? Personal Branding is the way others are seeing you, and how they remember you.
Personal Branding is an ongoing process where you are creating a brand identity, it could be for a person (famous or not) or for an organisation.
When you start the journey and work on your Personal Branding, you are defining the tone of voice you will be using to communicate with others - they may be your peers, potential customers or your next employer - it is not only from a marketing perspective.
Why your Personal Branding is important?
People who know you will trust you. The more they know about you, and your business you can start joining conversations that could lead you to a new job or if you are selling a product/service they could become a new customer.
I listed 4 reasons to start investing on your Personal Branding:
Start getting noticed - you only have less than a minute to make a good 1st impression.
Connect with your audience - be yourself, be honest and keep it simple.
Increase opportunities - once you got their attention, listen to them and let them know what you are good at.
Let them to remember/recommend you - you will be impressed of the benefits you can get. Let them remember you in the best possible matter.
The world is smaller than you think, and if we talk about online presence you just need a browser, type a name and click enter to find references about anyone.
What does it appear when you type your name? You can improve the results by investing time on your Personal Branding.
